Preface

We are pleased to inform you that we have the 4^th Particle Physics School in South-East Asia with some emphasis on B physics from September 13^th to 19^th, 2015 at Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Vietnam, dedicated for young students. We look forward to having many students attend this enjoyable school.

Program and Announcements

We will provide following lectures:
  -    4 lectures in series on Particle Physics Theory,
  -    4 lectures in series on Particle Physics Experiment,
  -    4 lectures in series on Particle Accelerator,
  -    4 lectures in series on Particle Detector, and
  -    2 lectures in series on Special topics.
We also provide 4 demonstration classes for assembly of and experiments on a Wire Chamber kit.
Each slot of lectures and discussions are for 90 minutes.

[Student Presentation]

Participants are divided into 5 groups. (1 group: about 10 students)
At the student presentation session on September 19, each group gives a presentation on assignments.

5 groups
      (1) Particle Physics Theory: Prof. Iso and Prof. Kohri
     (2) Particle Physics Experiment: Prof. Nishida
      (3) Detector: Prof. Haba
      (4) Accelerator: Prof. Yoshioka
      (5) Experiment (Wire Chamber): Prof. Uno

Student Presentation Session is held on September 19 [09:45-12:15]

Each Group has 30 minutes
Presentation: 20 minutes
Discussion: 10 minutes

Each lecturer gives some assignment(s)
Students have a time to prepare the presentation on September 16-18.

Note:
If participants have PCs, we recommend they carry their own PCs.
Participants are able to connect to the Internet through Wifi free of charge at the Vietnam National University.

Registration fee:	600,000VND
Registration deadline:	June 15th^th, 2015

Registration should be made prior to your attendance to the school.

Financial Support

Financial support is available to cover travel and local expenses for the limited number of participants.
